About the Media Training Center (MTC)
In today’s intense competitive arena of filmmaking, electronic & digital media, it is imperative for a serving professional or an aspiring individual to effectively perform in order to build brand equity and avoid the risk of reputational damage. In this connection, Sindh Madressatul Islam University has proudly launched a professional training program catering to industry needs called, SMIU Media Training Center, that offers a range of specialized training courses with the aim of providing professional skills across all key level individuals who are already serving or aspire to pursue their career in media sector.
SMIU Media Training Center is the first ever specialist provider of media communication, skill development and audio-visual production courses by any Public Sector University in a simulated TV studio and in a very own licensed Campus FM Radio station SM96.6 primarily dominated by practical and interactive sessions. Delegates are given “live” TV and radio scenarios which equip them with the skills to handle and execute News & Infotainment Programs.
SMIU Media Training courses provide delegates with a foundation from which to build their confidence in engaging with audiences through a variety of media, including print, radio and television. Each course is facilitated by senior professionals & industry experts.

MEDIA FACILITIES
SMIU has state-of-the art media facilities which features a TV studio, a radio studio, multimedia editing suites, an audio/video library and a dedicated recording studio for common work.
