Mission
The Department of Social and Development Studies aims to bring socio-economic development in the country through the provision of quality education and practical knowledge of the various disciplines of social sciences to the development leaders of tomorrow. The department aspires to focus on theory and methods which will equip graduates to apply new insight to policy analysis in a practical context. Furthermore, this department intends to create a research conducive environment for development and social change.
