SMIU and MUET sign MoU
Sindh Madressatul Islam University and US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W) established at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on different areas of collaborative research and academic exchange.
Representatives of both institutions, including Prof Dr Syed Asif Ali, the Dean Sciences of SMIU and Prof Dr Rasool Bux Mahar, the Director US-PCAS-W, signed the agreement and shared their views regarding collaborative research and academic exchange.
They showed the cooperation for the betterment of institutes and country. Both the major universities of Sindh have agreed to promote and co-operate in academic research and agreed to explore in different fields, including environmental sciences, integrated water resources management, GIS and remote sensing, soil and water analysis, water, sanitation and health sciences, advance water and wastewater quality analysis.
The MoU was signed at USPCAS-W Mehran UET Jamshoro on Friday.
