SMIU, Hashmani Hospitals ink MoU
Sindh Madressatul Islam University and the Hashmani Group of Hospitals inked the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide health facilities to the employees and students of the SMIU. The SMIU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujeebuddin Sahrai Memon and the Chief Executive Officer of Hashmani Group of Hospitals Mr Arslan Hashmani signed the documents at the VC Secretariat.
The Hashmani Group of Hospitals will provide health facilities to the SMIU employees and its students. It will also set up medical camps and conduct health awareness sessions at different occasions.
Prof Dr Mujeebuddin Sahrai Memon briefed the delegation about the university and said that: “we were living in pandemic situation and safety and health of employees and students was university’s priority.
“SMIU is a historical institute and relationship with it is considered an honour for any organisation,” said Professor Memon. He said that he wanted a strong and better relationship with Hashmani Group of Hospitals in future too.
Speaking on the MoU signing ceremony, Mr. Arslan said that the Hashmani Group of Hospitals will also collaborate in other areas, including internships and scholarships for the SMIU students.
SMIU Registrar Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh, Dr Syed Asif Ali, Dr Zahid Ali Channar, Dr Jamshed Adil, Dr Aamir Iqbal, and Ammar Shakeel Corporate Manager, Hashmani Group of Hospitals witnessed the MoU signing ceremony.
The Vice Chancellor also presented a shield to the CEO of the Hashmani Group of Hospitals.
