Library is situated in a separate building which was built in 1898. Khan Bahadur Hassanally Effendi (KBHE) Library is the hub of knowledge,supporting university students and faculty in pursuing information & knowledge.
The University has a collection of over 15,000 volumes in business, management, education, environmental sciences, media studies, computer sciences and other related fields.
An important feature of library is a rich collection of Archives since 1835-1947.
The Library provides a variety of learning atmosphere including 9 open-access PC workstations for SMIU community.

The Library is facilitating to its patron with complete devotion and inspiration. Library opening hours for both campuses are as follows.
Monday to Saturday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
Sunday: Closed
Any changes in Library hours will be displayed on notice board of the library and posted on the library page.
