SMIU Model School Holds “Marqa-e-Haq, Jashan-e-Azadi” Celebration
SMIU Model School organized “Marqa-e-Haq, Jashan-e-Azadi” at Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Auditorium as part of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day celebrations.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai presided over the event, where students presented tableaus, dramas, national songs, and speeches in English, Urdu, and Sindhi highlighting the Pakistan Movement, the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and the sacrifices of national heroes.
Students also paid tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their role in the May 2025 conflict. Dr. Sahrai congratulated the nation on Independence Day and appreciated the efforts of teachers and students for organizing the program.
Ms Nabeela Kanwal delivered the welcome address, while faculty members, officers, and students attended the ceremony in large numbers.
