SMIU Faculty Honors Vice Chancellor on Sitara-i-Imtiaz
In honour of Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai receiving the presidential civil award “Sitara-e-Imtiaz,” the faculty of Sindh Madressatul Islam University organized a ceremony in the Senate Hall, with Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Professor Asif Hussain Samo and Assistant Professor Wafa Mansoor Buriro congratulated Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai on receiving a prestigious civil award of the country and said that this award is not only an honour for the entire educational community of the country, but it is also a matter of great honour and pride for Sindh Madressatul Islam University. They said that the efforts and successes that Dr. Sahrai has made for the educational improvement of Sindh Madressatul Islam are very important for taking our new generation forward.
Dr. Sahrai thanked the faculty for giving him such recognition and said that this award is a recognition of the entire faculty, officers, and other employees of Sindh Madressatul Islam University, as well as the country’s educational community.
On this occasion, Assistant Professors Ms. Quratulain Nazeer Ahmed, Mr. Wafa Mansoor Buriro, Syed Azeem Inam, Dr. Inayatullah Magsi and others presented souvenirs to Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai.
The session was attended by deans, Dr. Jamshed Adil Halepoto, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Khan, Dr. Stephen John, chairpersons of different departments and other faculty members.
