U.S. English Language Specialist Conducts Academic Writing Workshop
Sindh Madressatul Islam University, in collaboration with the Regional English Language Office (RELO) at the U.S. Mission in Pakistan, organized a session titled “Academic Writing for Publication,” conducted by renowned English Language Specialist Dr. Ivan Eubanks.
More than 30 faculty members and students participated in the workshop, which focused on academic writing techniques and publication in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Eubanks shared practical strategies for writing impactful research articles and highlighted the importance of clarity, structure, and adherence to global scholarly standards.
During his visit, Dr. Eubanks also met Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeebuddin Sahrai Memon to discuss higher education trends in Pakistan, the role of English language instruction, and efforts to promote academic excellence and research innovation.
The engagement provided a valuable platform for strengthening institutional ties and exploring future collaborations in education and professional development. The university also acknowledged the support of Aisha Zeeshan and the RELO office for promoting educational initiatives in Pakistan.
