The Career Accelerator 2026 Program, organized by the Directorate of Students Affairs and Counselling, Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), was a two-day initiative designed to enhance studentsโ employability skills and connect them with leading industry professionals through training sessions and on-campus recruitment opportunities.
The interactive workshop on CV Writing and Interview Skills were focused on Day 1, June 3,2026, aimed at preparing students and recent graduates for todayโs competitive job market.
We were honoured to have Mr. Salman Noor Shaikh, Manager Human Resources at Kutiyana Memon Hospital, Karachi, who conducted an insightful session on effective CV writing and interview preparation, sharing practical tips from an industry perspective.
A team from Meezan Bank Limited, led by the Regional Sales Manager Mr. Arif Hussain, also briefed students about various career opportunities at the bank and provided valuable insights into their recruitment process and expectations from fresh candidates.
In addition, Dr. Quratulain Memon Senior Manager Students Affairs (SMIU) shared important professional guidance on how to confidently prepare for and succeed in job interviews.
This initiative reflects SMIUโs continued commitment to strengthening industry-academia linkages and empowering students with the skills and opportunities needed for successful career pathways.
