Day 2 of Career Accelerator 2026 featured a recruitment drive for second-year and senior students, recent graduates and alumni of SMIU.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Hafeez Khan, Advisor to the Vice Chancellor on Academic Affairs & Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, along with Registrar Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh and Controller of Examinations Furqan Iftikhar.Representatives from leading employers, including Meezan Bank, TGT Nexus, Realistik Solutions, Humantek, Human Capital HR Solutions, PostEx, Virtuous BPO, Fulcrum and Scaleup Connect, participated in the drive.

More than 200 students and graduates took part, with each candidate appearing for an average of four interviews, providing valuable exposure to multiple career opportunities.The Directorate of Studentsโ€™ Affairs and Counselling reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening academia-industry linkages and creating meaningful employment opportunities for students and graduates.
