3rd Global Research Congress Begins at SMIU
The two-day 3rd Global Research Congress (GRC-2025), along with five international conferences and one national conference, commenced at Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU). The event was inaugurated by Dr. Tariq Rafi, Chairman Sindh HEC, along with Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, Vice Chancellor SMIU, Dr. Jamshed Adil Halepoto, Convener GRC, and Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Khuhro, Secretary GRC.
Addressing the inaugural session, Dr. Tariq Rafi, Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, and international scholars from New Zealand, Ireland, and Pakistan emphasized the importance of education, research, and the opportunities and challenges posed by artificial intelligence. The speakers appreciated SMIU for successfully organizing the congress and conferences.
A documentary on the GRC was screened, while Assistant Professor Wafa Mansoor Buriro conducted the ceremony. The inaugural session was followed by technical sessions and panel discussions held under five international conferences and one national conference at different venues of the university.
The event was attended by prominent scholars, academicians, faculty members, officers, and a large number of students. Souvenirs were also presented to the distinguished guests.
