4th International Conference on Sustainable Computing and AI Concludes at SMIU

The two-day 4th International Conference on Computing and Related Technologies, themed “Sustainable Computing and AI: Shaping the Future of Industry and Society,” concluded at Sindh Madressatul Islam University with a ceremony chaired by Dr. Sarosh Lodi. Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai attended as Guest of Honour.

Speakers, including Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh and Dr. Abdul Samad, highlighted the conference’s academic impact. The convener reported that seven technical sessions featured 13 keynote speakers, including international expert Prof. Dr. Martin Maier, who spoke on AI for sustainable cities.

The conference emphasized innovation in AI, sustainability, and digital transformation, with recommendations presented for future research. Organizers and volunteers were recognized, and the Vice Chancellor announced the upcoming SMIU Global Research Congress 2025, reaffirming the university’s commitment to academic excellence and global collaboration.
