Business Incubation Center of Sindh Madressatul Islam University
The Faculty of Management, Business Administration and Commerce, in collaboration with the Business Incubation Center of Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), organized “Start-Up Summit 6.0: From Concept to Success” at the university’s I.T. Tower.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, along with Deans and faculty members, inaugurated the summit and visited the stalls, appreciating students’ innovative ideas and projects.
More than 130 aspiring entrepreneurs presented 34 innovative start-up ideas, showcasing creativity, entrepreneurship and practical solutions to contemporary business and social challenges.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai emphasized that every successful business begins with an original idea and encouraged students to develop their own concepts and seek mentoring and support from incubation centres to transform ideas into viable enterprises.
The showcased projects covered diverse areas including digital platforms, marketing and branding, healthcare, agriculture, water purification, HR solutions, environmentally friendly products, education, taxation, food and entertainment ventures.
The summit provided students with practical exposure to business planning, product development, marketing and investor pitching, while facilitating interaction with mentors and industry experts.
The organizers said the summit reflects SMIU’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and employability among students and contributing to sustainable economic development.
