Panel Discussion on Educators’ Role in Sustainable Societies Held at SMIU
Karachi, December 17, 2025: The Faculty of Education, Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) organized a panel discussion on “Role of Educators in Shaping Sustainable Societies: Challenges and Opportunities” during the 3rd Global Research Congress (GRC-2025).
The session featured Prof. Shahida Sajjad, Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University Karachi, Ms. Rana Hussain, former Minister for Education, and Prof. Dr. Amjad Arain, Vice Chancellor of Government College University Hyderabad. The panelists discussed the vital role of educators in promoting sustainability and highlighted the need for quality education, teacher development, and effective policy implementation to address challenges facing Pakistan’s education sector.
