SMIU Holds Mental Health Awareness Session
The Department of Social and Development Studies at Sindh Madressatul Islam University organized an awareness session on “Social Anxiety and Introversion among University Students” to promote mental well-being.
Ms. Hania Kazmi, Counsellor at Credo College Karachi, shared practical strategies for managing social anxiety in academic settings. The session was welcomed by Dr. Muhammad Kamil Lakho, while Dr. Subhash Babu delivered concluding remarks.
Attended by students and faculty, the session emphasized awareness, coping skills, and the importance of mental health support in universities.
