SMIU Holds Startup Summit 4.0 Showcasing Student Innovation
Sindh Madressatul Islam University successfully organized Startup Summit 4.0 at the SMIU Business Incubation Center in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration. The event showcased 25 innovative startup ventures developed by final-year BBA students under the Entrepreneurship course.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, along with senior faculty members, visited the summit and appreciated the students’ creativity, research, and entrepreneurial spirit. The Vice Chancellor also acknowledged the guidance and mentorship provided by Assistant Professor Shahid Obaid in organizing the research-oriented startup projects.
The summit featured diverse business ideas focusing on technology, sustainability, healthcare, education, eco-friendly products, AI solutions, renewable energy, and smart consumer services. Evaluators Syed Aamir Alam Rizvi and Syed Muhammad Danish Mujtaba praised the students for presenting practical and innovative solutions to real-world challenges and encouraged them to further develop sustainable ventures.
Startup Summit 4.0 reflected SMIU’s commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning, while inspiring students to transform classroom ideas into future business opportunities.
