SMIU Hosts HEC Intervarsity Zone-L Badminton Championship 2025-26
The Sports Section of the Directorate of Student Affairs & Counselling (DSA&C), Sindh Madressatul Islam University successfully organized the HEC Intervarsity Zone-L Badminton (Men) Championship 2025-26 in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission Sports & Co-Curricular Division, Islamabad.
The three-day championship, held from November 4 to 6, 2025, brought together teams from 11 universities, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. The opening ceremony was graced by Engr. Shah Naeem Zafar, while the prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Bux Ali.
SMIU congratulated all participating teams and thanked the HEC Sports Division, Sindh Badminton Association, and university management for their support in making the championship a successful event.
