SMIU Hosts Seminar on Entrepreneurship and Innovation
SMIU ,through its Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) and Business Incubation Centre (BIC), in collaboration with Sindh Enterprise Incubation Centre, organised a seminar titled “Idea and Impact” on October 3, 2025 at Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Auditorium.
The seminar attracted students interested in startups, social enterprises and technology-based ventures. Secretary Science & Information Technology Department, Government of Sindh, Noor Ahmed Samo, Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh and entrepreneurship mentors Umair Jaliawala and Malik Khaskhely addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of innovation, startups and incubation centers for young entrepreneurs.
The event concluded with a souvenir distribution ceremony attended by Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh, Dr. Jamshed Adil Halepoto, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Khuhro and Assistant Professor Shahid Obaid. Proceedings were conducted by Wafa Mansoor Buriro.
