TİKA Karachi Head Visits SMIU, Reviews Progress on Pak-Turk Research Centre
Karachi: Mr. Maşuk Pusa, the newly appointed Head of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Karachi, accompanied by Ms. Fatima, visited Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) and held a meeting with Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai and university officials.
During the meeting, Dr. Subhash Babu and Mr. Shairan Najeeb briefed the delegation on the progress made toward the establishment of the proposed SMIU Pak-Turk Research Centre. Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai welcomed the guests and emphasized that the Centre would promote research in education, culture, languages, and heritage.
Mr. Maşuk Pusa reaffirmed TİKA’s commitment to supporting the establishment of the Centre. The visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs and a tour of SMIU’s Jinnah Museum and the building proposed for the Pak-Turk Research Centre.
